Audrey back home from CCL Surgery
Audrey is back home recovering after surgery for a complete cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tear—the canine equivalent of a human ACL. For the next two weeks she’ll be on strict rest and light activity, mostly sleeping while her knee heals; doggie physical therapy will begin after that. The photo set documents her immediate post-op condition: her left leg fully shaved for the procedure, a roughly 5-inch knee incision (with a close-up of the sutured area), and Audrey’s unmistakable sad puppy eyes. This update outlines the plan for a quiet home recovery now, followed by structured rehabilitation to help her regain strength and mobility.
